He passed away during the construction of the temple but his wife Shethani Harkunvar accomplished his husband’s dream and built the temple. After it started in 1848. From that time, it became a prominent religious place for Shvetambara Jains.

Hutheesing Jain Temple Darshan

Let us tell you that Hutheesing Jain Temple is one of the old Jain temples surrounded by gardens called Huteesing-ni-Wadi. Under the temple complex, Lord Mahavira’s statue is situated and some other architecture makes it more beautiful. To enshrine the statue of Lord Mahavira, Delhi Darwaja and Manastambha have been built that is inspired by the Jain Manastambha and Kirtistambha. All things give the ritual aura to the temple and make more holy place. The temple structure was designed by Premchand Salat (a Craftsman) in an Indo-Saracenic style. This style is inspired by the Solanki-Period architecture.

This Jain Temple is dedicated to Dharamnath. You can see the statue of Dharamnath in the main sanctuary. Dharamnath is the fifteenth Tirthankara out of 24 teachers who deliver the message to the world. Rainwater harvesting has attracted devotees to see it.
